As a youth development organization, the mission of Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey (GSNNJ) is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. GSNNJ serves girls ages 5-18 across five counties, bringing the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to more than 19,000 girl members and 10,200 adult members. Our vision is to be recognized as the premier leadership development program that nurtures, inspires, and empowers girls.

Recognizing that a girl’s zip code or socioeconomic status should not determine whether she benefits from Girl Scouts, GSNNJ provides financial assistance for Girl Scout membership, uniform supplies, program fees, and summer day camp.
