Volunteer Day at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey

CREW NJ invites members to volunteer with us on October 23, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. at The Community Food Bank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) at 31 Evans Terminal Road in Hillside, NJ.

CFBNJ, a member of Feeding America, is New Jersey’s leading hunger relief organization, supplying nutritious food to more than 800 community partners while providing after school meals, supplemental child nutrition, job training programs, and budget friendly healthy eating education. Serving 15 counties where nearly 900,000 residents, including over 240,000 children — face food insecurity, CFBNJ supports many working households that still struggle to afford basic needs and often must choose between food and essentials.

Details:

  • Registration is limited to fifteen (15) volunteers.

  • CFBNJ requested volunteers bring donations of diapers and/or feminine products, which are among urgently needed items for the families served.

  • Please join us beforehand from 12:00-12:30 for lunch in the CFBNJ break room, sponsored by Federal Business Centers.

  • If not joining for lunch, please arrive no later than 12:45 for the volunteer shift.

Registration:

  • Please use https://vhub.at/crewnj to create a new VolunteerHub username and password, using your email address as the username.

  • After setting up your account, sign in and register for the volunteer shift; you’ll be prompted to complete a brief form and sign the required waivers. If you already have a VolunteerHub account from past CREW NJ volunteer events, simply use the same link to log in and register for the date and shift.
